制作アーティストの安井鷹之介は、

「壁画を描く行為はスポーツにも似たフィジカル性を伴うものである」と言います。
「Workout | 今日の練習」と名付けられた習作品は、安井が次に巨大な防潮堤に壁画を描く本番にむけて、毎日練習をするかのように描きつづける作品群であり、それは小さな壁画と言えるかもしれません。
雄勝町をはじめ、世界各地の人々の姿、風景、文化など、多様な側面でこの作品群に現れる空気感を感じてください。

Takanosuke Yasui, the artist who created the mural, says, "The act of painting a mural is something that involves a physicality similar to that of sports.
The study pieces titled "Workout | Today's Practice" are a group of works that Yasui paints every day as if he were practicing for the next time he will paint a mural on a huge seawall, which could be called a small mural.
Please feel the atmosphere that emerges in the diverse aspects of this body of work, including the people, landscapes, and cultures of Ogatsu-cho and other places around the world where he has traveled.
